What is the Co Valere AI Use Case Library?

The Co Valere AI Use Case Library is a curated collection of 150 practical AI use cases for enterprises. Each use case describes a business problem that AI can address today. Each entry gives a title, a short description, the sector and the business function. The library is written for CIOs, CTOs, enterprise architects and transformation leads who need to decide where AI should be applied first.

The library is technology-independent. No use case assumes a specific AI vendor, model or platform. Co Valere architects maintain the library and update it as enterprise adoption patterns change.

Which industries and functions does it cover?

The library covers 22 sectors and 13 business functions. 51 use cases apply across all sectors, such as invoice processing and matching or onboarding content generation. The remaining 99 use cases are specific to one sector. Examples include:

  • Financial Services (14 use cases): regulatory change monitoring and financial report generation.
  • Healthcare (8 use cases): clinical documentation assistance, medical coding and drug interaction checking.
  • Manufacturing (8 use cases): supply chain disruption forecasting.
  • Insurance (5 use cases): claims processing and adjudication.
  • Retail (7 use cases): personalised product recommendations.

Other sectors include Technology, Education, Public Sector, Pharma and Life Sciences, Logistics, Legal, Telecoms, Construction, Media and Energy and Utilities. The largest business functions are Operations (37 use cases), Finance (17), Marketing and Sales (15), Legal and Compliance (14) and Risk and Security (13).

How do enterprises use it?

Enterprises use the library at four points in an AI programme:

  1. Opportunity discovery. Teams filter the library by sector and function to build a long list of 10 to 30 candidate use cases in one session.
  2. Prioritisation. Teams score each candidate on business value, data readiness and integration effort, then shortlist 3 to 5 use cases for a first wave.
  3. Architecture readiness. For each shortlisted use case, Co Valere maps the systems, data and integrations it depends on. This shows whether the current architecture can support the use case or needs work first.
  4. Roadmap planning. Teams sequence the shortlisted use cases into a 6 to 18 month AI roadmap with clear dependencies.

The library is a starting point for structured conversations, not a vendor catalogue. Co Valere consultants use it in AI readiness workshops with technology and business leaders.
